Symantec is sponsoring a drive to help low-income children get the educational tools they'll need for the upcoming school year. It's really cool. This past week they set up a stand where you could pick up a ticket for either a girl or boy in grades K-1, 2-5, 6-8, or 9-12. I picked two tickets: girl, K-1 and boy, 2-5.
So today my boss, a coworker, and I went to Target. I got two backpacks and a bunch of school supplies (there's a specific list for each grade range) for under $70! It was a lot of fun shopping for all that stuff again, because it's been awhile since I've gotten to do that. It almost made me want to go back to school. :p
